Well I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed making them. Melissa and I went all over the city to some of my favorite places. Although it is never my intention to get the dress dirty just for the sake of it, it was wonderful to be free of the constraints of that worry. I think these images really turned out beautiful and I hope that they can help elevate “trashing the dress” into creating a lasting work of art that people can enjoy over and over again.

I also just wanted to let you know that the dress was not actually hurt in the making of these pictures. After a few spins in my washing maching it looks brand new!

God these make me cringe. I love the concept and the photography but I couldn’t imagine trashing my dress.
