Stop the presses! Here’s the scoop:Gina DeConti, owner and head photographer of Imaginative Studios in Chicago, has placed in the highly competitive Photo District News 2008 Top Knots Contest. This competition recognizes “the best of the best” in the field of wedding photography worldwide. Ms. DeConti’s winning selection will be featured in the upcoming April 2008 PDN issue, exhibiting THE TOP KNOTS: The New School of Wedding Photography contest. It will also be featured on www.PDNonline.com.
The winning image depicts a blissful little flower girl floating down the aisle. It intrigued Gina at once; because it captures an expression of pure joy and satisfaction on the child’s face as she makes her way toward the altar.
