Emily and Dan met as employees of the company that built the new modern wing at the Art Institute of Chicago. So it was only fitting that they have their wedding reception there as well. Everything about their wedding was modern and unique, right down to Emily’s lovely J Crew wedding dress which fit her understated style to a T.
We had a lot of fun driving around town to get some great shots. We even ended up scaling a gate that was blocking the entrance to the bridge over Monroe that leads to the modern wing. I couldn’t believe what lengths the couple was willing to go to for the shots they wanted. Even in the rain! And boy was it worth it. We had the bridge all to ourselves with breathtaking views of the city everywhere we looked.
